Go to an online skill calculator, for example runescape.salmoneus.net; it will tell you the amount of experience needed, and how many of different types of logs you need.

You will need 150k willow logs to get 99 firemaking. I suggest using maples and yews after because it is faster.
That's best consulted at an online skill calculator, such as the ones available at salmoneus.net, or runescape.wikia.com.
You will need approximately 143,584 willow logs to get from level 53 to level 99 Firemaking.
It all depends what level your Firemaking is. if your Firemaking is 60 (Just high enough to burn yews) you would have to burn just under 63,000 yew logs. I would suggest burning maple logs, you would have to burn around 93k but it's a lot cheaper, but if you want it done fast yews is the way to go.
You will need around 67,566 yew logs cut to get from level 75 Woodcutting to 99. a deuce load of yews im on 70wc so I need a deuce load
It all depends what level your Firemaking is. lets say your Firemaking is 58 (Just high enough to burn eucalyptus logs) you would have to burn just over 66,000 eucalyptus logs.

you would have to burn 96,551 maple logs and you need 13,034,366 experience to go. Hope this helped.
I suggest you use a runescape skill calculator (Check related links), to find out how many logs you need. Then go to the Grand Exchange (either within RuneScape, or from the main page), and look up the current price for maple logs. Finally, multiply it. For many players, the main problem in getting firemaking 99 (or 99 in most skills) is not so much the cost, but the amount of time required, to burn the logs in this case.
One maple log on RuneScape will grant you 135 Firemaking experience when burned. You need 11,824,010 experience points to advance from level 75 to level 99 in a skill. 11,824,010 divided by 135 equals 87,585.25926.Therefore, you will need to burn 87,586 maple logs to advance from level 75 to level 99 in Firemaking (assuming you receive no experience bonuses).
You would need to chop approximately 94524 maple logs in order to advance from level 60 to level 99 in firemaking. ---------------- Fact: Did you know by the time you get level 95 in a skill you will have to get all the experience you acquired to get to level 95 again in order to get level 99?

40,957,851 wow.. wat a nerd...haha Actually it wont take that many, in total from 0xp to 99 it takes 192k willows, (i know this because im getting 99 wc) so it would prob be about 191k willows from 20-99
Answer: Depends on what log. Answer: You should use a runescape skill calculator for this kind of questions. Do a Google search for those terms (runescape skill calculator), you will find several. However, to get a quick idea, a yew log (the best and most expensive log in free-to-play) gives you 202.5 firemaking experience; you need about 13 million experience (total) for level 99.

With yew logs (highest-level log for non-members - also the most expensive) you get 202.5 experience each; you can light one every 2.4 seconds. You need some extra time to reload your inventory - it should take about 80 seconds for the full inventory. That's an average of about 68 experience per second, or 240,000 per hour.
