You will need approximately 143,584 willow logs to get from level 53 to level 99 Firemaking.
It all depends what level your Firemaking is. if your Firemaking is 60 (Just high enough to burn yews) you would have to burn just under 63,000 yew logs. I would suggest burning maple logs, you would have to burn around 93k but it's a lot cheaper, but if you want it done fast yews is the way to go.

Electric fireplace logs save you the hassle of having to clean like you would a traditional fireplace. There is no need to burn wood, so you also do not have the hassle of ashes. Once you have the electric fireplace logs you do not have to worry about keeping topped up with wood. It is very simple.

One maple log on RuneScape will grant you 135 Firemaking experience when burned. You need 11,824,010 experience points to advance from level 75 to level 99 in a skill. 11,824,010 divided by 135 equals 87,585.25926.Therefore, you will need to burn 87,586 maple logs to advance from level 75 to level 99 in Firemaking (assuming you receive no experience bonuses).
