First, put in a game that can allow two or more players, then take another controler & push the red syncro button inside the controler, then push the same red syncro button on the wii, the controler will begin to flash and then suddenly stop, and should show the box that shows what player you are. After you did all that, the controler will recongnize the wii system and you will no longer have to push the red button, unless something happens that causes the wii remote to erase its memory & you have to do it all over again.
The Wii-Remote is wireless only. The wii can also support 4 gamecube controllers, wired or wireless.
