It depends on how much Exp your Pokemon needs for example lets say your pikachu needs 100 Exp to get to the next level well then you must move 100 steps to get pikachu to the next level. Basically every step you make is 1 Experience point for your Pokemon.

Q: How many steps does it take to get a daycare Pokemon up one level?

When your pokemon is in daycare, every one step, is one exp point Pokemon do not evolve in daycare however. hope it helps!

To level up Pokemon in the daycare walk as many steps equal to the exp. points required to level up. I would not use the daycare to level up because your Pokemon gain the minimum stats and your moves could be deleted for a crappy move.

one step = 1 exp point

1 step equals 1 exp so if your pokemon needs 1000 exp you have to walk 1000 steps hope this helped :)

Pokemon get 1 EXP for every step you take. Meaning the amount varies depending on how much EXP your Pokemon needs.

The more steps you take the higher exp it will learn.

It doesn't take steps. Jut keep playing battling, and eventually, the Pokemon will level up. I suggest using the exp. share, unless you want to breed on four island.

As your aware a Pokemon needs a certain amound of EXP Points to level up check your Pokemon's needed EXP Points the number shown will indicate how many steps you need to take in order to level up your Pokemon while it's in the daycare so for example let's say you put a magikarp in the daycare it needs 300 EXP Points to level up so you will need to step anywhere 300 times this does include Surfing you can also ride your Bike as well or Run.

well every 200 steps it gains 1 EXP point so it depens on how many steps you go

Like any Pokemon game, the amount of experience the Pokemon in the daycare gains depends on how many steps you take. One step equals one experience point your Pokemon gets. A quick way is to find a long path you can ride your bike on and just repeat the path until they level up to your liking. This also works with eggs that you may carry.
