Not sure how this is Pokemon related, but oh well. A ball has a certain force going in its certain direction, and when it hits your hand, your hand hits the ball with the same amount of force, but in the opposite direction. When you move your hand back, it acts like a cushion and persay "absorbs" the force of the ball. Much like if you jumped onto your bed. It would hurt if your bed was solid and didn't move at all, but because it springs in when a force lands on it, it feels nicer. Just ask your science teacher or your parents or something.
Yes, you are still allowed to draw. The hand size limit only comes into effect at the end of your End Phases. If you have more than 6 cards in hand at that time, you must discard down to 6. However at any other time, you are freely allowed to hold 7 or more cards.
To delete your data for the game 8 Ball Pool on Facebook, log into your account and click on the symbol at the very end on the right hand side at the top of the page. Select the 'settings' option. On the left hand side of the page choose 'Apps' and then look for 8 Ball Pool. To the right of the game you will see an option to edit and an 'x' symbol. Click on that and choose the 'remove' option.
You cannot simply choose to discard a card from hand, voluntarily, or send cards from the field. You can only do so when allowed to do so for a cost, or instructed to by an effect or game mechanic.
There is no hard limit, you may have as many cards in hand as whatever effects have allowed you to draw. However at the end of your end phase, you must discard down to six, if you have more. At any other time, there is no limit.
