Without a diamond pickaxe, it will take 250 seconds to break and won't even drop a block. However with a diamond pickaxe, it will take 10 seconds, and the block will drop.

It takes 4 minutes and 10 seconds for any other tool than a Diamond Pickaxe to break an Obsidian block, and no block is dropped.
Bedrock is indestructable under normal circumstances. It can't be destroyed by mining or by explosions, only removed in creative mode or by an admin. Obsidian on the other hand can't be damaged by explosions, but it can be mined.
use 4 obsidian along the bottom then 4 upwards on top of the 2 outside pieces then to imbetween the top pieces. then right click with flint and steel in your hand
