If I recall correctly 2.
2 Big hearts-- Maximum happiness.
Kinda. Just battle with him a lot, and check his happiness with your Poketch app that shows you the hearts.
You can either: Have Poketch App #6, which tells you your pokemon's happiness when you press and hold it by the number of hearts that appear above it. If it has two large hearts, it means it loves you the most, whereas no hearts mean its happiness is 0. You can also go to Dr. Footstep's house on route 213. If your pokemon's happiness is at max, he will give it a ribbon.
Budew evolves when it has the highest possible friendship (two hearts get bigger on the friendship checker poketch app) and gains a level.
Budew does not evolve from leveling it up, Budew evolves from friendship. you will know it has full friendship with poketch app friendship checker, which you get from the president of the poketch company, and when budew has two giant hearts, it has full friendship, to speed up the proccess I suggest giving it a soothe bell, feeding it pofffins, walking with it in the area north of hearthome, and battling with it. If you want a roserade use a shiny stone which you can find in the side entrance of iron island NOTICE: Budew will only evolve from friendship DURING THE DAY -emoneyfz Actually you only need to have it be in two hearts for a while i evolved both my buneary @ my golbat this way.
Igglybuff doesn't evolve through Poffins. Igglybuff evolves after it levels up when it has high happiness (i.e. two large hearts in the Poketch Happiness Checker).
Golbat evolves when its happiness is maxed out. There's also one item that influences happiness; the Soothe Bell. As for what it does, it increases the amount of happiness gained. Also, if you capture Golbat in a Luxury Ball, the increase in happiness is much larger than if in a normal ball. The things that will raise happiness include: -Having the Pokemon in your party -Giving it Vitamins-Giving it a massage in Pallet Town, Veilstone City or Ribbon Syndacite -Giving it Certain Berries - -Gaining a Level There is a Pokétch application that will show you the happiness of your Pokémon in your party simply by tapping them. It will be shown as hearts. There are various levels including one small heart, two small hearts, two big hearts and two large hearts. The two large hearts being the optimum happiness level. There is also a person, Dr. Footstep in Route 213, who'll give you the footstep ribbon if you show him a Pokémon with maximum happiness. HOPE THIS HELPS!!!
it needs max happiness. you can test this with a poketch app that show you how much the Pokemon likes you. it will have 2 large love hearts above its head
it cant evolve from a level, stupid. it has to be at full happiness [which means on your pokech it has to have 2 hearts to evolve] then it evolves in a battle if it levels up. i got it from serebii.net and went onto dpp pokedex, then clicked on a-g pokemon, and near the bottom is golbat. so then you click on it. it shows everything that you need to know. and that's it.
Two big hearts on the Friendship Checker app and level up. After Bye, bye Golbat!!! Hello Crobat!!!
You mean by happiness? You need 2 for it to evolve.
Golbat evolves from happiness, not from a trade. Once you make it extremely happy, you can level it up to make it evolve into Crobat. Some good ways to raise its happiness are; - Keep it in your Party - Capture it in a Luxury Ball - Have it hold a soothe bell (as this doubles happiness gain) - Feed it vitamins (HP-up, Iron, Calcium, etc,) Drinks from the Veilstone Vending Machines, or Poffins - Give it massages at the Ribbon Institute or Veilstone City - Battle with it (But don't let it faint!) - Feed it certain berries *Walking/Biking alone takes about 45,000 steps to achieve maximum happiness. (remember that the soothe bell doubles this) -- To see if your Pokemon is as happy as it can get, check your Poketch. There is an app that has your Pokemon bouncing into each other and just floating around. If you hold the stylus on one Pokemon, hearts might appear above it. The first stage of happiness is nothing, the next is 1 heart, then 2 hearts, then both hearts grow.
2 Big hearts-- Maximum happiness.
Buneary and Golbat both evolve via happiness. If they are levelled up when their happiness is high enough (220 out of a maximum 255) they will evolve into Lopunny and Crobat respectively. You can increase a Pokemon's happiness by: walking 256 steps with the Pokemon in your party, levelling the Pokemon up, using healing items or EV berries on the Pokemon or giving it a massage. (In Eterna City Pokemon Centre a woman will give you the 'Freindship Checker' app for the Poketch. 2 large hearts indicate a happiness value of 220 or higher.)
