8 Floors.
In Lilycove. The big skyscraper is the pokemon mart. Just go up the floors, and they sell different items.
Bike over them really fast. Beware: if you stop, the floor will break.
You must ride a mach bike in full speed over the cracks. But if you stop on a crack, it'll crack open and then you will find yourself on the previous floor.
In Pokemon Emerald, The Mirage Tower appears randomly. All you have to do to make it appear is keep going back-and-forth from Fiery Path to the Desert and it should appear. Just make sure you have the Mach Bike, You'll need it inside the tower to get past the fragile sand floors. And at the end of the Mirage Tower, you'll get a nice suprise! :)
In order to battle Brandon in the Battle Pyramid, you have to get through all 7 floors 3 times in a row without losing in the Battle Pyramid. If you succeed in doing that then you will battle Brandon when you go to the next floor.
For each facility you need to beat the 7 trainers (there may be less in the battle pike and there are more in the battle pyramid) 3 times in a row then defeat the frontier brain on your 4th round. Note for the battle pike and pyramid you need to clear the rooms and floors a certain amount of times to battle the frontier brain.
