Well it depends on what xbox you have. The slim models (with working fan) have no overheating problems what so ever, in fact i know someone that leaves their slim on 24/7 because they have no hard drive to save games and other than some game freezes he hasn't had problems ( i would not recommend this though). The two older xbox models though have terrible problems with overheating and can't be played for more than about 6 hours until they have problems. With a broken fan things can get a little tricky because with the arcade and elite xboxes no fan means no airflow whatsoever do to the fact that the vents are much smaller on these, and cooling so i wouldn't play any games on these older xboxes if the fan was broken because you might damage them in a few hours but with a slim model that has great venelation ( suspended with maybe a exterior fan) you might be ok for at least a few hours. Bottom line is that if you have a broken fan contact microsoft if you have warranty and get it fixed because only the xbox it self knows the amount of airflow the fans need to supply. so it can be tricky to do it externally
You can leave your Xbox 360 on as long as you want. But doing this make your Xbox overheat.
well realy it depends how you treat it. the best advice i can give you is to keep it in a ventalated area do not cover the fan holes with anything. and to keep it flat not standing up right as if it does overheat it can damadge it much worse
Xbox has been around for a long time, about eight to nine years (as of 2009), but Xbox 360 has been around about, two years, maybe a little less.
Yes, as long as u have a hard drive
Yes, it can so long as the games are backwards compatible.

It does overheat but it wont get it just for being on. If you have it in a cool, well ventilated place it wont overheat quickly.
Not long, combustion gases (hot) generally enter the cooling system and cause the engine to overheat.
It may sound funny but until the cars out of gas as long as the engine doesn't overheat and the cooling fans are working correctly and the system is properly charged.........
In my opinion, u shouldn't do that. You could overheat your 360 by leaving it on for a long amount of time.
While setting down a laptop on the bed is okay for a short period of time, it is not recommended that you keep it there for a long period of time. Some laptops overheat when their vents and fans can not push the air out. Look at your laptop's manual to find out where your fans are and use your best judgement.
Well, you can and you can't. If you Save the game to your hard drive you can play the game but you will still need the disk. the only use of doing this is that it will not overheat your 360 if playing over long periods.
How long is the Xbox box
No, but if its been on for a long time it may heat beyond warm but it wouldn't overheat completely :)
controllers don't matter. yes its bad if you leave it on your xbox will overheat and it will red ring which means you will have to send it in to Microsoft to fix. this happens very easily. also if your xbox is on carpet its even worse. if you really must do this which you shouldn't. buy a cooling pad. hope this helps better then the first answer
No Super Smash Bros. game will ever be released for the Xbox. Not as long as it's a Nintendo series. If that were to happen, it's likely that it would be considered by fans as the moment when the series "jumped the shark" (became worse).
No, this Acer model does not tend to overheat unless you leave it on for long periods of time such as a week.
