To fix the lag in Darkorbit is very simple.
1. You go to 'Settings' on your in-game page. It is located in the top-right corner. Then click 'Show hit counter' until it's off. Then go to 'Gameplay' on the same right-hand corner module, and click 'Zone' until it's off, and 'Background' until it's off.
2. Go to your add-ons page and click 'Clear ram cache' and it will clear some data on your PC/laptop that is irrelevant to your computer
