The PS2 emulator works poorly and is still in beta stage which means it is still being developed and is called the PCSX2. A person can with a lot of time, trouble, and hard work manage to complete some of the PS2 game titles from start to finish with the Emulator. That does not mean a Laptop can even play the PS2 game if it has the emulator because it takes skill to set up the emulator and each game requires additional changes to allow it to work. They do not work from the game disk and seem more like a project for Sheldon from the Big Bang Theory to take on than someone who just wants to play a PS2 game.

Not there isnt one. You don't want a Red Dead Redemption PC emulator because the game is a PS3 and Xbox 360 game. It would take a PS3 or Xbox 360 emulator to run a copy of the game for those systems on a PC.The PC is not capable of doing much more than running a PS2 emulator and is years away from having a PS3 or Xbox 360 capability if an emulator could be developed it would take years to work out the bugs. They are still in beta stage for the best PS2 emulator the PCSX2 and have been for many years
