Let me just give an example of how it works:
1. My friend and I both have... let's say Mario Kart DS.
2. We want to play together, so we start Multiplayer Mode.
3. One is host (host game), all others are guests (join game).
4. I try to connect, so I stay in a radius of some 3 meters or something.
5. If I'm connected, my friend taps "Cut off" and we can start racing after selecting track etc.
Most games have a special multiplayer mode in the title screen.
Some games, like Pokémon Diamond for example, haven't, and you need to unlock it, beat the game, get to a certain place or level, buy it with points etc. Also, some games haven't just got a MM in the title screen, e.g. Pokémon Diamond, but here you need to go to the 2nd floor of a PokéCenter, so go to a certain place where you can connect or start multiplayer mode.
I hope this is clear and that this helped you :D
no. theDS lite is wireless to only other DS's
Yes you can. You can also connect DS lite to DS and DS Lite to DSi.
You cant because the DS, DS Lite, and DSI all use wireless connections. i know because i have one
No, the Nintendo DS charger is different than the DS lite chager
via pitochat or DS download play but yeah it works just like it would DS lite to DS lite
no. theDS lite is wireless to only other DS's
No, the DS AND DS Lite both have one built into it.
It depends on what game you have like Mario Kart for instance
Yes, it already has a wireless adaptor inside it.
The NDS and NDS Lite can only connect to the Internet with certain games that support connection with Nintendo WFC. You need to be near a hotspot or have your own wireless network at home. The NDS and NDS Lite only supports WEP encrypted wireless connections. The NDSi also supports WPA and WPA2. It also can make a wireless connection without the support of additional software/games.
No. sp doesnt have a high enough software level to receive wireless connection with ds.
No, GBA games cannot use the DS's wireless function. You'd need actual GBAs and either a link cable or the GBA wireless adaptors.
If you have a internet connection i think you can
That's impossible. No wireless connection for emulators.
internet , games , connection for other games , same as the Nintendo Ds
yes a dsixl could connect to ds
for ds and ds lite get a game with wifi connection and select the wifi setup, then search for an access point on one of the three slots. You have to have wireless internet to do this, or the Nintendo wifi adapter, which is kinda crappy.
