How do you use the red flute on Pokemon Soul Silver?

if your talking about the snorlax thing,you don't REALLY need the red Flute.Just go to your radio and bring the cruiser to the top of it and you'll see pokeflute channel do it near the sleeping snorlax,then click A,the snorlax will wake up and battle you (it is catchable).But if your talking about the battle item,"red flute" all you have to do is let your Pokemon hold it and when it falls asleep,it'll wake up in 1 or 2 turns automatically.
