Darkspine Sonic, as many people know, is the super-enhanced form Sonic achieves in Sonic and the Secret Rings. Although well-known, few people draw the details properly, such as coloring the arms nirely purple or giving his feet soles, as to make them shoes. Darkspine Sonic uses the 7 World Rings from a dimension unbeknownst to any characters within the entire game of Sonic and the Secret Rings (SSR for short) to generate his power. Although commonly mistaken, Darkspine does not control or conduct fire. During his battle with Al-Layla-Wa-Layla (translating to 1,001 and defined as "god" in the Arabian Nights), Darkspine only has increased power compared to earlier gameplay. In the end of the game, he uses the power of the World Rings (which supposedly are from another dimension but control the one he was presently in) to return the world of the Arabian Nights book to its original form before Alf-Layla-Wa-Layla distorted it. This did not return the book to its original structure, though.
