To perform the chaos spear move, Shadow must be in his super form- accessible in the last boss battle against Devil Doom. Holding the button again in midair will send shadow into a charge state and letting go of the button will make him release the chaos blast. Unfortunately it is far weaker than it was in Shadow the Hedgehog. It isn't really worth ever doing because it is so weak and has such a short range.

yes theres a last story on shadow the hedgehog. first you have to get to black doom before time runs out using chaos controll alot as you go along.. once you have got to him you then use the chaos emeralds to turn super and then you end up defeating black doom but hes turned into devil doom.. (tip: hit his eye) and i wont tell you what happens after that :)
