umm ok this doesnt make this much since, if your asking if gmod damages your computer, it depends on which gmod you have (if you got it free its gmod 9, if you got it for $10-13 its gmod 10/11). in gmod 9 there were LUA viruses, in gmod 10 there are fake addon viruses so you should just scan for viruses when you download addons (www.garrysmod.org). if you play online there are some players who find it enjoying to spam props and nukes until you crash. also if your computer is lower-end then some of the maps and addons can crash it. but OVERALL no, garrys mod does not damage your computer, some addons and players do. just be careful which addons you download. if your just playing gmod to build contraptions, probably no dammage there. OK now if your asking about some sort of computer in gmod (PCmod?) that damages players or something like that try www.facepunch.com/index.php
You cannot do this in gmod. You need to use a program called Source SDK (software development kit.) you can find this program on the internet or on steam. (note: this program is extremely complex.)
Hit start, highlight all programs, go to accessories, open paint, then draw your background, save it somewhere as a bitmap file (.bmp)and then in pivot hit load background then open the picture you made.
The picture of your place that shows on the place is the point the camera is pointed at when you upload the place. To change it, simply make sure when you upload the place that your camera is showing what you want the cover picture of your place to be. All of the humanoid text will appear in the picture; GUIs will not appear in the picture.
you cant unless you know something i dont actually it is possible to make an underwater base but not in gmod. you can use the hammer editor to make a map then add water to it and take out the water in the parts of the map where you dont want it. if you have css you can map it with that and i thing you can also map it with tf2. there might be other source games which you can map it with but if there are i don't know about them. and once your done making the map you can export it the which ever game you used then play it on gmod. hope this helps!
