You don't have to unlock zombies its a standard feature, but there is an extra map or mode you can unlock. I'm sure it's a new map, but I don't know if it's a different mode, haven't played it yet. Go to the main menu where you're in the interrogation room, and press the two last back buttons on your controller. On the PS3, it's L2 and R2. I don't know about XBOX or PC. Then you walk to the small computer behind you and type in 3ARC UNLOCK. Then you'll have a new map in Zombies.
