Just delete the directory file located in C:/Program Files/EA Games/The Sims (name of EP). It should be gone.
After that, empty the recycle bin and now you can remove the registry key of the game.

16 - Right-click on the the Key of the EP and choose Delete.
17 - A Confirm Key Delete window will appear, choose Yes.
