You need an SD card. Insert an SD card into the Dsi and go on System Settings on the main menu and select Data Management. Next you select a Dsiware game and choose copy to SD card. After the copying is complete insert the SD card into another DSi and go to Data Management on System Settings, it will first display the system memory so at the top of the touch screen you will be able to select SD card. Now select the Dsiware game again and choose copy to System Memory. The dsiware game will now be saved onto the System Memory of the DSi. Hope this helped :)
No. There is no way to download or play DSiWare games on Nintendo DS or DS Lite systems.
I have just been lookin on the Nintendo website and you can play your DSiware games straight from the SD Card + you can copy DSiware game save files to your SD card. You can't however transfer your DS games to an SD card or transfer your DS game save files to your SD.
You can only register games developed by Nintendo or its first parties (ex. Mario, Zelda, Kirby, Pokemon, Metroid) as well as all WiiWare and DSiWare games.
For the most part, yes you can. If you want to connect with pictochat or DS games (including DS Download), you can connect between a Nintendo DS and DSi. However, for DSi specific games, such as DSi games and certain applications, the Nintendo DS will not be able to connect. But, note that certain DSiWare games that can DS download play still can be connected to the Nintendo DS.
You can download unlimited, full version Nintendo DS and DSi games and easily transfer them to your DS / DSi using: http://www.squidoo.com/Download-DS-Games

Points you have to get games and software from DSIware.
The Nintendo DS is fully backward compatible with Nintendo DS games; however, the Nintendo 3DS does not have Slot 2, as seen on the Nintendo DS and Nintendo DS Lite, so those features will not be supported. Additionally, DSiWare games will be available to download on the Nintendo 3DS after the software update in May 2011.
if you mean downloadable games (DSIware), no. But if you are talking about physical games, there is no distinction between dsi games and ds games.
Yes, the 3DS has games specifically designed for the system on cartridges and available through the eShop.

That is not possible. You can transfer DSiWare games from DSi to 3DS, but not the other way around.
Yes, data like DSiWare games and pictures can be saved onto an SD card.
The DSiware games are downloaded to your DSi and appear on its menu. You do not need to be connected to the internet to play those games.
To transfer DSiWare from a DSi to a 3DS, you first must download the Nintendo 3DS Transfer Tool from the Nintendo DSi shop onto the DSi. Once this is downloaded, launch it from the DSi Menu. On the 3DS, enter system settings, then underneath "Other Settings" select the System Transfer option on the third page. After the 3DS checks your Internet connection (you must be able to connect to the Internet on both systems so that DSiWare licenses are transfered properly) select "Transfer from Nintendo DSi." Read through the next few screens until the system says that it is searching for a system to transfer from. On the DSiWare, select "Transfer to Nintendo 3DS," read through the next few screens then select the name of your 3DS from the next menu. Once you confirm the connection on the 3DS you will be given a list of options on the DSi as to what you want to transfer: Full - This will transfer everything: Your Wireless settings, photos, Nintendo DSi sound recordings, and DSiWare games. Photos and Sound - This will give you options to transfer all your photos and recorded sounds. DSiWare - Use this to transfer individual DSiWare games to the 3DS. Follow the prompts on the DSi to start the transfer. While the transfer is taking place, progress will be shown on the 3DS.
No, the Nintendo DS cannot install DSiware games pernamently. However, if the game has a DS Download play, the NDS can still connect to it.
