Using a GBA to GBA link cable hookup your firered and sapphire together and go upstairs in any Pokemon center for firered talk to the far right lady and ask to go in the trade center and in sapphire talk to the middle lady and when both games save one of the games must confirm the link by pressing the A button once the link is going sit in the seats then start trading!
