I think u have to beat all of the battle royales (there's 4 of them: one on ribular island, one on cranial island, one on ilium island, and the last is on the bb brigade base) and u have to do them in order.

To get Ignosaurus: 1. Boot up the game. 2. Select your player. 3. Click Multiplayer. 4. Click Nintendo Wi-Fi Connection. 5. Click Bonus Data. 6. It will tell you that you have fossil Ignosaurus at the Fossil Lawn. To find the Fossil Lawn to get Ignosaurus: 1. Go to Ribular Town. 2. Go to the right bottom or follow the map on the top screen. 3. Go a bit to the right and go up, you should see an Ignosaurus fossil there. 4. Pick it up and start raising it up to Rank 20! 5.Enjoy! P.S: Frigisaurus will be available on December 25th 2011, Christmas Day! On February 15th 2012, you will be able to get a new secret Boneysaur the same way and on April 15th 2012, you can get the Dinaurians, Duna, Raptin, and Dynal, maybe with the Guhnash Brains (Not confirmed yet.)

All you have to do is dig up 13 or 14 coloured fossil rocks and show them to him. Don't worry though, he won't take them. Then you get AAA grade and be able to dig up dark fossil rocks.
