Pokemon Platinum time runs on your DS or DSi clock. To make it nighttime in the game, change your clock settings too nighttime. Example: If you set it as midnight on your DS, it will be midnight in the game.
In the main screen even before you enter the Pokemon platinum game you can go to your ds settings and click on your clock to change the time to the correct time so that you can activate rotom to battle you.
You can reset your DS clock to Friday... But... Then you can't access Pal Park, Lottery Corner, Berry handouts, Trendy sayings, or Pokemon mansion Pokemon for 24 hours. If you set the clock back right after you catch it, you can't do the above for 48 HOURS! So wait a day, do the above, then set it back. See Ya! |:-) >
