To set up a PSP Connection I'm assuming to the internet, If not then please be more specific. To get on the internet turn on your psp and go to "internet settings" and you can either go scan which is the simple way and if that's if you know your internet name and password if there is one, click that and enter your encryption password and name it what you want to name it, when you try to connect to the internet use those settings. The other way is to manually enter your details and get your internet running that way.

You're trying to use AOSS to establish a connection, you're telling the PSP to wait for an AOSS signal. You're supposed to press the AOSS button on your wireless router (if it has one), it'll then broadcast a signal which the PSP will receive and automatically set up the connection.

A PS3 in the living room and a PSP on the go. The PSP is not a PS3 and just doesn't measure up except as a portable device. The new PS3 slim when correctly set up as designed with online connections to the internet and HDMI connection to a Sony HDTV allows for much more entertainment than just the limited features of the PSP or even the newer PSP Go.

To download games to a PSP using a wired connection rather than wireless, you need to download Media Go from the Playstation website, install it and set it up to work with your PSP. When you run it, you can press the PlaystationNetwork button to launch the PSN inside Media Go. You'll need to sign in with your PSN details, but from here you can download the games to your PSP.
