Well, when you put the music CD in the Xbox 360 it should start playing all the tracks but at the top of the cool pattern that it shows when playing the music it should say "Rip CD." Press this and you should be able to select the tracks that you want to rip or save on your Xbox to play later.

no and I'll tell you why. Xbox DVD drives are flashed to corrospond with Xbox games. only certain types of drives are made to do this. there are four types. Hitachi and ben-Q are 2 examples. no, the drives are not interchangable from PC to xbox console. try borrowing an xbox 360 CD and put it in ur PC. it'll show you what i mean :)

You cant rip burnt Cd's to the Xbox 360 it wont let you. If its just a regular cd and the option to rip it is grayed out its probably because you have an arcade with no hard drive. Since there is no hard drive there is no were to rip the cd to. So if you have the new 4gb slim or an old arcade you cant rip cds.
