Well, when you put the music CD in the Xbox 360 it should start playing all the tracks but at the top of the cool pattern that it shows when playing the music it should say "Rip CD." Press this and you should be able to select the tracks that you want to rip or save on your Xbox to play later.
You can purchase a scratch removal kit made especially for CD's, DVD's and games for the Xbox 360.
They have to support xbox live, this will be indicated on the back of the CD case.
no and I'll tell you why. Xbox DVD drives are flashed to corrospond with Xbox games. only certain types of drives are made to do this. there are four types. Hitachi and ben-Q are 2 examples. no, the drives are not interchangable from PC to xbox console. try borrowing an xbox 360 CD and put it in ur PC. it'll show you what i mean :)
Here is the full list of backward compatible games-http://www.xbox.com:80/en-US/games/backwardcompatibilitygameslist.htm To play any of them, you must either have your 360 updated by conecting it to the itnernet, or use an official Xbox Magazine Disc, which occasionaly comes with the Backwards compatible Compat discs. Or you can order a CD from Microsoft themselve (its free i believe), but i am not exactly show how..
