when you post your flipnotes on the Hatena website it says lock or don't lock and you press lock or when you send your flip notes to someone it asked you if you wanted to lock or don't lock and you choose and that is how you lock your flip notes on the dsi have fun!!!

If u mean hantena, you need a email address. you need to accept for permission then print out the paper. u send the paper to hantena. it will accept ur permission slip and u r a member. now u can post flip notes online.
If it is no longer in your System Memory, go to your Creator's Room and download your Flipnote. If you already have this Flipnote in your memory, you may skip that step. Once you have the Flipnote saved, go to Hatena. Choose a channel to post to. When you re-post your Flipnote, DO NOT choose "Lock." Now your Flipnote is unlocked.
