I'm not sure that the Hughes Net works for PS3. It is for people who can't get DSL and Cable which is what the PS3 requires for the internet see the link for Hughes net understanding your service

The information below was copied from related link and it is clear that any multiplayer PS3 game would not play well with a delay, let alone the half second delay they forecast.
