How do you play split screen on minecraft xbox?

If you connect another controller to the XBOX (i.e. turn another one on) and press 'A' on that controller, you should be given the option to join the game. The screen will automatically split once this is done.

1. Get an HDMI cable and connect it to both your TV and Xbox.

(make sure you are using an HD TV with at least 720p)

2. Create a new world or load a previous one. (*Warning*: Apparently if you use an old world, it may save over it).

3. Done, it should bring you to connect controllers screen.
