i tried to play it online but before you can it trys to install a file or patch or sumthin and it wont work for some reason. any ideas where i can play online another way

I have had this problem before, Install all the patches until when you try to go on online play again there isn't anything there, log out, go on online play again but instead of putting in your username and password put in your x-fire username and password. This solved the problem for me, If that's what you do already then I can't help you sorry! I hope this works for you!
I have another way, let it load and try to log on. If it doesn't work - sign up with the same username and passwrod again, then let it install the file and try again. After doing this two or three times it worked for me.

Will you see Dawn of war 2 changed its stragetic game type. Its not like any other dawn of war games they created. So i say you could play the game but not as PRO as you did before. BUT dont forget there is always a tutorial in the game so you can learn quickly :)

it is because you need to purchase the : Dawn of war Dark Crusade in order to unlock Tau and Necrons. Dawn of war Winter Assault to unlock Imperial Guards and at last Dawn of war ( The First Game ) to unlock Space Marines , Chaos , Eldars and Orks And after that you will need the Keycode of all of them and activate each one when the time appropate

In the original game, without expansion packs (Warhammer 40,000: Dawn of War), you have the option to play as the Orks, Space Marines, Chaos Space Marines, and Eldar. If you add the expansion pack "Winter Assault" (requires Warhammer 40,000: Dawn of War or one of its standalone expansion to play) then you gain access to the Imperial Guard. The standalone expansion, "Dark Crusade" (does not require Warhammer 40,000: Dawn of War, or Winter Assault to play, but you can only access armies which come with the game) 2 new armies, the Necrons and the Tau, are added. Warhammer 40,000: Dawn of War is stand-alone. Just buy them.You could try going on filefront and looking for a mod which allows this or search other wensites but basically there isn't really a easy way out of it so just buy the other 2 games,there so old now they wont cost much so just stop being a cheapsakate,buy the game,and enjoy a much better dawn of war dark crusade experience. No i don't work for the company that made this game. No there is no way, it probably is illegal to download a mod
