I have just been lookin on the Nintendo website and you can play your DSiware games straight from the SD Card + you can copy DSiware game save files to your SD card. You can't however transfer your DS games to an SD card or transfer your DS game save files to your SD.
You don't need any additional software, just purchase and download games from the DSi shop.
The DSi can't execute code on the SD card, all it can do is store pictures on it, or play music. There's no way to play a homebrew game off the SD card, the DSi simply wasn't made with the means to do so.
an sd card is a card that stores things it doesnt matter what brand it is
The original DS/lite does not use an SD card. You need either a DSi, XL or 3DS, and these use regular SD cards that can be purchased from supermarkets, computer or camera stores.

You need a SD card to be able to save any additional information for games. Therefore, most of the time and SD card is required. (When you buy a 3DS, it comes with a 2GB SD card) DS/3DS download play does not require an SD card
No, homebrew games can't be played like that. The DS can't run code from the SD card, to prevent piracy, unlike the PSP which can run code but only code signed by Sony. In the case of the DS, the SD card just stores data.
Now, you may think that slot in the Wii was made for DS games, but it's actually used for an SD card. What's the SD card for? It's for when you use up all of your Wii System Memory, you then start saving your data on an SD card. Use up all the space on the SD card too? Buy another SD card. Anyway, the Wiki Answer is NO, you cannot play DS games on your Wii.
not exactly sure, but try putting the sd card in the slot on your computer and pulling up the content, to be honest i dont know if you can play ds games online.
It is a modification to the Nintedo DS system that allows you to play videos, music and games from a Micro SD card.
Ds not sure what ds mean's.. dsl i know... what do you mean ds..
YES but you will need a SD card then with the SD card you put it in your computer and move the music to the card and then put it in your dsi
Any regular SD card will do, you can get them from supermarkets or specialist camera stores.
NO. Sorry, but it really stinks that you cant do it even without an SD card. They took to Dual Slot function out which means you still need a DS to play GBA games and to receive certain Pokemon such as Charizard on Platinum
It's needed if you want to play a game on it. But you can do lots of things without one on a ds. You can customize your ds, you can connect with friends and chat using pictochat, and you can even use ds download play to connect with a friend who has a ds card and play multi-player games with them.
After downloading the games to your computer from Google Play, you can use the SD Card as an external drive in your computer. Plug the SD Card in and then you can drag and drop the programs you want from your hard drive to the SD card, that will copy the programs to the SD card and then they are at your disposal.
