If you have downloaded it and you have The Sims 3 installed just create a folder where you can find the file and double-click on it, a window should come up saying do you want to install content? and you just click install. It should appear in your houses bin. Also in the ea games - sims 3 folder there is a sub-folder called downloads. You can place objects and people and things you download off websites in there and the game shoudl automatically update.

if you mean you want to play as them when they are at work, you can not. you can't go to work with your sims. if you have a business on a different lot then you have to have your sims go to that lot when they are controllable (i.e. not at work)

well if it downloaded correctly then you should be able to select the house from the lot bin and place it in an empty lot. it's not like in the sims 2 where you can place it anyplace. it has to be put in an empty lot space.

lets see, for the sims 2 if it's a house that you downloaded. it means it's the lot. something the people put into it doens't work or they didn't pack it right and so it crashes your game. if it happens for all of your houses (downloaded or not) then it could be your computer doen't meet the system requirements. if your talking about the sims 3 then it means your computer doen't meet the system requirements.

This was my stupid question and after looking through my download file I figured out that I had downloaded a override hack that stoped the normal aging of my sims it was named ijNoDaysleftDecrease.zip.
