You have to be willing to use the cheat "BoolProp testingCheatsEnabled true" Once you turn this on hold down shift and click on the sim you want to age. Flip through the options and one is set to my birthday. Click on that and then their age meeter should fill up. Once this is done, simply click on them and select grow up.
You have to do a cheat, so listen to these directions very carefully.
1. hit control alt c
2. there should not be a typing area at the top of your screen.
3.type in at the top of the screen 'testingcheatsenabledtrue' with no
spaces.
4. right click on your teenager and hit enable aging
5. she/he has a birthday and grows up!!
