you paint the entire screen checkered (has to be layer 2 that you paint). then, go to the resize button. for a righty, hold L and press resize. For a lefty hold r and press resize. Press resize 3 times. then, go to the first tab and hold L (r for lefties) and press the little box in the corner of the first box. a menu should appear out of it, and then press the first square. Now fill in the checkered screen with what you want to write/draw and go back to the resize button. Press it 3 times. Then hold the L button (again R for lefties). Press resize 3 times. There you have your sprites(or a ruined picture). I hope this could help a little bit.... There are plenty of Sprite channels that you could download sprites from, if you don't like yours!
