To get a Pokemon to trust you make sure to keep it in your party as you travel, you can use EV raising items. These include Protein, Iron, and Zinc. These can be found on the second floor in Veilstone Dept. Store. You could also have them hold the Soothe Bell to get their friendship higher. You get the soothe Bell from Cheryl in the Eterna Forest.
