You can put the original Vivosaur you want to clone in the Fossil Bank and find another head of that Vivosaur. If you forget where you found it, which happens to me alot, you can review that stuff via the Fossilary (NOTE:in the bottom right-hand corner of the bottom screen click the little orange thing and select the dinosaur icon 'cause you can't get to the Fossilary from those orange machine things)
You have to read the team skill book at The Abandoned pirate ship in Bottomsup Bay, but if you already read it, you need to place 3 compatible Vivosaurs in the same team (i.e Ptera,Neo, Megalo etc.)
From the first game, it was diets. now, this game is better graphic and same team skill requirements. :)
If you put a certain combination of vivosaurs on your fighting team (the 3 that actually go into battle in a fossil battle), their medals will flash and gleam. That means that they can use their team skills. The easiest way to make team skills available is to put 3 vivosaurs together that are all the same type. There are also some vivosaurs that will tell you who to team them with in their descriptions (Elasmoth, Arsith, Brontoth.... Futabi, F-Raptor, Mihu... Spino, Angato, Sucho... Stygi, Pachy, Goyo). Some, you figure out by experimenting. The ones that I've found (and can remember) are: Nychus, M-Raptor, and Tro... Coatlus, Elasmo, and Venator... I'm sure there were more.So putting a certain trio on your team will let you use their team skills. You find out by experimenting, or by reading their descriptions. At some point in the game, it mentions putting together by diet or where they're found (on Earth) for a start.
I have done everything in fossil fighters. I have all legendaries ( frigi, Igno) I also have duna, raptin, and dynal, and the 5 chickens. All my vivosaurs are to max level. The team I used to beat dynal and get him is frigi in the AZ, Guan and Orno in the SZ. The best team I have now is Igno in AZ, Guan and Dynal in SZ. Dynal is pretty good in the AZ because he has the highest attack of ANY creature or vivosaur in the game, but he does even better in the AZ. Here's why, he bring 77 DOWN on everything on your OPPONENT. Igno has the same attack as dynal, but brings you down so you have to put him in the AZ. Guan gives you 90+ power!. Igno hit a 960 on someone once!
To get Ignosaurus: 1. Boot up the game. 2. Select your player. 3. Click Multiplayer. 4. Click Nintendo Wi-Fi Connection. 5. Click Bonus Data. 6. It will tell you that you have fossil Ignosaurus at the Fossil Lawn. To find the Fossil Lawn to get Ignosaurus: 1. Go to Ribular Town. 2. Go to the right bottom or follow the map on the top screen. 3. Go a bit to the right and go up, you should see an Ignosaurus fossil there. 4. Pick it up and start raising it up to Rank 20! 5.Enjoy! P.S: Frigisaurus will be available on December 25th 2011, Christmas Day! On February 15th 2012, you will be able to get a new secret Boneysaur the same way and on April 15th 2012, you can get the Dinaurians, Duna, Raptin, and Dynal, maybe with the Guhnash Brains (Not confirmed yet.)
they are team moves. they work if your team is all of the same element, or have several things in common.

You need to clean the same fossil rock a couple of times and then it immediately donates the fossil rock
my question is how do you use it? its says it in the summary that it has the team skill, but it dosent show up in battle! help!!!!!! any way , the best one i know of is krona u have 2 get 3 of the same type of vivosaurs, and go to battle with em, like for example; Spinax, Venator, and Megalo, or something like that qwerty. well if u beat the game you should all ready have the best vivosaurs but if u havent then i recommend getting a venator they are one of the srtongest earth vivosaurs i got mine in greenhorn plains but when you level him up about 5 times and get all the fossil parts for him he has a tremendous amount of power he works well with a u raptor same thing with u raptor level him up and get the fossil parts beastly combination
it alrady has. the dsi has the same games as the ds and ds lite. moron
Its in mount lavaflow but if you want to find it faster or don't get the same fossils, upgrade your sonar to fossil chip 2. Hope this helps :D
yes and no. it is a sequel in many occasions, like some of the people you talk to are either related to a person before or the person them selves but they don't reconize you (ex. Rosie after beating the game, and the Chieftan during the story who is related to the girl with the mask), the durainians are there and the two legendary vivosaurs etc. and no because it is not on the same island, the rest of the story does not correspond to the first one, new friends, no Dr. Diggins ( there is no mention of him in the game, NONE!) no Mr.Richmond ( again no mention!) and a new owner of the fossil industry, Joe Wildwest. So in all the game is a balance of both games new people, old rivals, new fighting styles, old vivosours/new ones...........hoped this helped.

Draw where the emotions are the first time and it will probably be like the same next time.

You can get Ptera fossils only with Donation Points (DP). Each part will cost you 100 DP, but they'll always be rare fossils (red bones, they give you a 25 point bonus when you clean them). You get DP by cleaning a fossil rock you've cleaned before, and if it has a lower score than the one currently integrated/in storage, it gets donated. If you clean a fossil that's in storage (hasn't been revived yet), the fossil with the lower score will be donated. If you clean a fossil rock and get the same score as the fossil that's currently integrated/in storage, it gets donated.
