You have to read the team skill book at The Abandoned pirate ship in Bottomsup Bay, but if you already read it, you need to place 3 compatible Vivosaurs in the same team (i.e Ptera,Neo, Megalo etc.)
Do not use fire types. Duna will kill you. Use air types that you can use team skills with. Use Spinax, Coatlus, and Stego.
It is located on the second floor under wool beards room
If you put a certain combination of vivosaurs on your fighting team (the 3 that actually go into battle in a fossil battle), their medals will flash and gleam. That means that they can use their team skills. The easiest way to make team skills available is to put 3 vivosaurs together that are all the same type. There are also some vivosaurs that will tell you who to team them with in their descriptions (Elasmoth, Arsith, Brontoth.... Futabi, F-Raptor, Mihu... Spino, Angato, Sucho... Stygi, Pachy, Goyo). Some, you figure out by experimenting. The ones that I've found (and can remember) are: Nychus, M-Raptor, and Tro... Coatlus, Elasmo, and Venator... I'm sure there were more.So putting a certain trio on your team will let you use their team skills. You find out by experimenting, or by reading their descriptions. At some point in the game, it mentions putting together by diet or where they're found (on Earth) for a start.
Spinax,Coatlas,&Metria[every attack has to be learned.] With Coatlas keep enraging the enemy then attack with Spinax[in th AZ at the beginning]and Metria;type disadvantages shouldnt work against them at all,so put whoever you want in the green at the beginning of when you make your team. That's good but your vivasaurs skills improve when they are on the same team with the same elemental type. I would recomend for a good fire team which for me would be T-rex Lord in AZ, and Peloro and Amargo in SZ. Caution! Never give Amargo a super fossil because it will evolve and its Support Effects would be horrible. Amargo himself can learn a skill called power scale which will equalize your enemies and your FP.
