You can't. Not without and not with the national dex, ou can't get to other regions at all in Pokemon Diamond and Pearl
It does work, but the codes are different for Diamond, Pearl, Platinum, HeartGold and SoulSilver, even the same codes. The codes are even different for other reigons such as Japan, Europe and America. So make sure you verified that closely. ~Lucario
