How do you get the spring in a Club Penguin mission?

Firstly, you go to the HQ and next to the gadget room door are 3 gadgets locked in a cage. Click on the second one with the magnet inside and then open up the code. Keep pressing on the up and down arrows till you get the word 'KEY' in code. It will open and then take the magnet of the cage and put it in your inventory. Go to the iceberg and move around till you see the spring floating in the water. You get the magnet out and click on the spring. Put the spring and magnet in your inventory and go to the gadget room. You put it in the test chamber and unfreeze it with the fire.
