To upgrade you house, you have to call Gotz Constuction, but you can only get the first house upgrade by purchasing the table from the channel 2 Sprite station. Once you have the table, upgrading your house will be available when you call Gotz.

To unlock the option to upgrade your house you must buy the table first. If you do not have the Table in your home you can not upgrade your house. You get the Table from the Shopping Network. You get that by purchasing at least one item from Karen's General Store on ten different days. Once you have gotten the Table you can hire Gotz the carpenter to upgrade your house.
