How do you get the HM Dive in Pokemon FireRed?

It's not necessary, therefore you won't get it normally.

If you wish to teach a Pokemon the dive move then you should send him to a reliable friend with emerald/ruby/sapphire. Alternatively you can ask your friend to attach the hm onto a Pokemon and switch it with one of your own (do this before he starts a new game, when the Pokemon he gets is insignificant).

You can also use cheat cartridges to get the item, but this method comes with a risk.

You can neither get HM Dive in FireRed nor LeafGreen, because you don't need it to complete the game. The only way to get it is to trade for a Pokemon from Emerald, Ruby, or Sapphire that already knows Dive, since you can't give a Pokemon an HM and trade it. Besides, there are no dive spots in this entire game. You cannot find HM Dive in LeafGreen or FireRed. The only you could get dive is that you trade Pokemon from emerald,ruby,and sapphire.You have to trade the Pokemon that has the power of dive.And you could not get HM dive in Pokemon fre red or leaf green or any other game like that.

I think that Dive isn't in LeafGreen just in Ruby,Saphire and Emerald and in new games of Pokemon...
