First, enter the mansion. Nothing you need to do is located in the basement.
The next door should take is on the first floor, furthest left. Traverse the rotating gray blocks and enter the door at the end of the room. You will be in a room named "The West Chamber." It contains a green button in the top right corner. Jump on it.
You have now opened up many floating green blocks that did not exist in the mansion previously.
To get the golden button, you will want to enter a door located on the second story of the mansion. It is located to the right of a hover nozzle box. It will take you to a room that contains a ghost star that lets you move through certain walls. Ignore the ghost star located in this room, and start moving right. There are now green platforms above you that will take you to a gold button that you should jump on.
This has now opened golden blocks as well!
Your next step should be the far right door on the second story of the mansion. It is the door directly to the right from where you come out of the stair case room.
Go right, jump over the "trap door," and you will see that green and golden platforms now lead up. Follow them up, take the first of two doors at the top of the room, and you will be in a room with a rocket nozzle box. This room contains the sunshine you want.
