The Sims2 Body Shop comes with the base game, (The Sims 2) or any expansion packs (Nightlife, Pets, Seasons, etc.) and stuff packs, (Teen Style Stuff, Ikea Stuff, H&M Stuff, etc.) and should have been installed when and if you installed The Sims 2 on your computer. If it gets accidentally deleted, it should probably be okay because it gets installed for EVERY expansion and stuff pack you have installed, plus one for the base game. (I have 9 body shops) But don't quote me on it since I've never accidentally deleted it before.
If have it installed with one or more expansion or stuff packs, you should probably use the one from the newest expansion pack or stuff pack.
It goes:
The Sims 2 (base game, oldest)
The Sims 2 Nightlife (comes with the base game if you have Deluxe or Double Deluxe)
The Sims 2 University
The Sims 2 Pets
The Sims 2 Seasons
The Sims 2 Bon Voyage
The Sims 2 Freetime
The Sims 2 Apartment Life
for expansion packs. I don't know what the order is for stuff packs seeing as I don't have them all yet.
*Apartment Life is the newest expansion pack, but the latest add-on to The Sims 2 is The Sims 2 Mansion and Garden Stuff. If you have Mansion and Garden Stuff, use that!*
It is fairly certain that there will not be any more add-ons for The Sims 2 seeing as they already have a Sims 3 and are making expansions for that.
If you do not have The Sims 2 Body Shop on your computer, then you may want to un/reinstall one of the expansion/stuff packs; or, if you don't have any, The Sims 2 itself. IF YOU DO THIS, you need to create backup files so you won't lose all your progress. Go to Documents, EA games, (The most recent one) and right click on the folder "The Sims 2", then copy it and paste it some where that is not in the EA games folder. (preferably on a flash drive or something you can remove from your computer without harming the data.) Eject the flash drive (if you have one) then proceed in uninstalling.
Then again, something that's been out for this long is probably downloadable from the internet.
The Sims 2 bodyshop is a place where you can make custom sims and clothes for them.
it comes with the sims 2 and you have to click on the appilication and the you can customize clothing and people ranges.
This is not a question and therefore cannot be properly answered.
The only reason your custom content does not show in body shop, it is because you have downloaded from the Internet . You must find your games body shop and create parts there. [p. s. It has happened to me also..]
You have to install it from a sim pack file, then you'll find it in the body shop, or pre-made sims in CAS under the right age and gender.
Sims 2 Body Shop is automatically downloaded to your computer when you download the Sims 2 game. You can access it by going to start-> programs-> EA Games-> Sims 2-> Sims 2 Body Shop. You can then go to Sims2.com and download custom content to it. ! :)
Unfortunately, you cannot use Sims 2 Body Shop on Sims 3.
