You just have to go and find the actual path, then he will disappear after you beat Cyrus. Actually, those grunts are not on the right trail. Go out of the cave and go up, then go left as much as possible then go down alongside the wall and you should see a entrance to another cave. Once you get to the top, battle your rival, battle the three commanders and battle Dialga/Palkia. Once you do, all grunts should be gone.Go back to that spot to see if you can get in the cave. The grunt may not block it anymore, so go ahead, there is a TM in there. I think it's dragon claw.
