Go around with a shovel hitting all the rocks and if a bit of money comes out keep on hitting it (if you pause for a long time no more money will come out).
you can get up to 16'000 (if i remember correctly)
but i know for a fact that you CAN get up to 8'500
the least you can get is 100
so that is why I'd advise you to dig holes behind you before hitting a rock) so you can get more money
*Note: this only works once a day
