If your talking about Harvest Moon: Another Wonderful Life, or Harvest Moon: A Wonderful Life, You can find the food around your farm's soil. (place where you grow your crops) Just pick up the food and put it in the dog bowl, after the dog eats find more food (ONLY IF YOU HAVE A CAT THE DOG EATS ONCE A DAY) put the food in the bowl and then the cat will eat. You can find food near the Harvest Sprite's House (Goddess Pond) Near Vesta's Farm, and near Ramona's Villa. If you want fill up the bowl again so your dog can eat tommorrow without you forgetting to fill the bowl. If you have a horse he eats the grass from the pasture, to bring him out just press the button that's outside (in the pasture) to bring him in with the other animals press the one that's inside the barn.
