right u need 99% ( all cars / roads rules ..both.. and everything on the game ) exept paradise awards cus u get platinum cars when its 100% =] Actually for gold cars you just need to get the elite license. Which means finishing all the races, marked man events, stunt runs, burning routes. You don't have to complete road rules or the showtime stuff to get the gold cars. I got the gold cars with an 80% completion only because I got the Elite license. Now if you want the platinum cars...then you need to get a 100% completion which means everything!

Burnout paradise is a game focused more on free roam than anything else. Blur is more focused on the races. I personally think the multiplayer on blur is better than on burnout paradise, because you can level up and get new things, but burnout paradise has good multiplayer too.
