In the Valley stage, there is a whirlpool near the end. Throw in lots of Pester Balls and a Dragonite will come out.
When you first see mew, you'll have to throw either apples or pester balls at it in order to break its force field. After you've thrown enough, mew will appear outside of its force field, that's when you take the photo before it gets away. Some advice when mew is outside its field is to hit it with an apple or pester ball, this will prevent it from running away for a few seconds and you will be able to float closer to it and get a better picture.
When you first enter the valley, start shooting pester balls at the edge of the river in the direction of the crazed mankey. If you keep shooting at the water, a magikarp will pop out and flop towards the mankey. The mankey will then punch it and send it flying through the air. Keep going through the valley until you reach a waterfall. Look to the left and the magikarp will fall onto the ledge near you. Throw another pester ball at it and it will flop into the water towards the waterfall, where it will suddenly evolve into gyarados. That's when you take your snapshots.
Switching Pokemon doesn't work. Simply use a potion, or snap into the mic. If done right, your Pokemon will either attack and not hurt itself, or snap out.
As soon as you enter the Volcano area, look to your left and you'll see a crater puffing out smoke. Throw pester balls into the crater and eventually a puff of smoke will come out and take the form of a koffing. Be sure to quickly take the photo once it appears.
