If its not caused by the battery dying, then sent it in to Nintendo and hope for the best.

this also happened to me i was playing it full battery then it went black...i don't know what to do but I'll probably send it to Nintendo
its all about if you like bigger screens or smaller system to fit better to your pocket. the DSi XL has 2 big screens which are more fun to play but the big disadvantage is that the system is pretty big and it wont fit any pocket so good like the normal DSi. plus the DSi is cheaper, so its all about your likes and dislikes.
Yes, it does. The DSi XL uses the same charger as both the DSi and the 3DS.
yes they both have the same charger
You could play it on both. Any DS game can play on your DSi
the Nintendo dsi is the Nintendo ds. it has 2 cameras one on the back one on the front and it connects to the internet also it has bigger screens then the ds and is slimmer then the ds .it can also download apps to play when you have nothing to do and ti has an sd card slot hope that helped bye bye
That most likely means that the DSi is frozen. It happened to me, all you have to do is either unscrew the back cover and take the battery out then put it back in or let all of the power run out.
Only the DSi's bottom screen is a touch screen.
Yes. On both screens. The lcd's(lights) behind the screens are powerful and can be adjusted for brightness.
The screens are bigger and of better quality.
DSi
Yes. It's called a DSi XL and has bigger screens!
The DSi was $169.99, but it went down, so now it's $129.99. Also, the both the DSi XL and the 3DS cost $169.99.
The DSi XL, a DSi which is larger, has larger screens, and a longer battery life. Expect it Q1 2010 in USA and Europe.
Nintendo DSiXL, it has larger screens
No. Like its predecessors, only the bottom screen of the DSi is a touch screen.
No, you can't.
Two, one is a touch screen
