Go buy 50 dusk balls.Go to stark mountain, go all the way through the mountain until you get to the very end. You will find a cave and inside the person with the flaming red hair he will tell you he got the special item of the mountain first. Then leave the mountain by using dig,an escape rope,or by walking and then go to survival area. In the house next to the poke center the person with the flaming red hair will be in there.Talk to him.He,ll return the item all the way back to the end of Stark Mountain. Go back to the end of Stark Mountain(Where the person with the flaming red hair got the item)and Heatran will be there waiting.Walk up to him then prepare your Pokemon then save just in case.Other than that you,ll be fine when you fight him throw 10 balls.Then get him in crisis(yellow life or red).Remember you saved so if you kill him press L+R+start+select(that's how you restart without turning the game off).If he kills you just restart.I,ll wish you luck good luck and hope you catch him.Oh yeah i for got to tell his moves.his moves are below.Heatran is fire and steel.
