How do you evolve azurill Pokemon platinum?

To evolve Azurill in any main Pokemon game, you need to max out it's happiness. there are many ways to increase happiness. they are as follows:

• Most basicly, keep the Azurill in your party. Pokemon like to be with their trainers.
• Make the Pokemon battle. That is what their for!
• Don't overdo it. If they get low on health or a status problem, heal it ASAP. Pokemon hate to suffer!
• Yummy items first. These include drinks like lemonade and Soda Pop over Potions. they are also cheaper than the traditional medicines.
• NO HERBS! they taste terribly bitter and all Pokemon loathe their horrid taste. it is an insult to their palate!
• Pokemon Contests! Pokemon love to shine. feed them yummy Poffins and make them Contest Stars. this is one of the best ways to increase happiness.
• Groom them. there is a massage lady in Veilstone City who will offer a massage to one Pokemon once per day. You also get free acsessories, like the Eerie Thing and Pretty Seashell. there is also a group of massage ladies in the Ribbon Society in Resort Area. this is a load better than the Veilstone massage lady.

After you have maxed out their happiness, which can be rated by the Friendship Checker Poketch App, which is obtainable from a lady in the Eterna Pokemon Center. I you get 2 large hearts, simply get the Azurill up one level (Rare Candies useful here) and hey presto! Marrill! To evolve Marril into Azumarrill, get Marill up to level 18. to get Azurill, breed a female Marill or Azumarill with a compatible Pokemon WITH THE MOTHER HOLDING A SEA INSENCE!

To evolve Azurill into Marill in Pokemon Mystery Dungeon-Red Rescue Team and Blue Rescue team, feed the Azurill Gummis (It likes White ones best) until it's IQ is 7 stars or more. Then bring it to Luminous Cave for evolution!

Similar Technique in Explorers of Time, Darkness and the Sky, except you only need 3 stars of IQ. Bring it to Luminous Spring for Evolution.
