You don't you can not make a PS3 play PS2 games by downloading software

Software is designed to make hardware work and the PS3 does not have PS2 hardware it has PS3 hardware and the PS2 software will not work on the PS3

If the ps3 has 2 usb ports it won't work. Every ps3 model will play a ps1 game. If you have a ps2 a ps1 game will play on it. The 80gb ps3 doesn't play as many ps2 games as the 60 and 20gb ps3 do. The 20gb and 60gb play the most ps2 games.
